  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup

  • How to Make It

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2. Pour the melted butter into an ungreased 13×9 glass baking dish. Separate both cans of refrigerated cinnamon buns into 16 cinnamon buns, setting the icing aside. Then cut each cinnamon bun into 8 pieces and place the pieces on top of the butter in the baking dish.
  • 3. In a medium bowl beat the eggs. Then beat in the heavy whipping cream, cinnamon, and vanilla until they are well blended. Then gently pour over the cinnamon bun pieces. Sprinkle the top with the pecans and then drizzle with the maple syrup.

  • Brown Sugar and Cola Glazed Ham

  • 1 10-12 pound bone-in, fully cooked ham
  • 1 extra large oven bag (for 10 to 25 lbs)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 (16 ounce) bottle of Coke or Pepsi

  • How to Make It

  • Trim any excess skin and/or fat from the ham. Using a sharp knife, score the ham in a diamond
  • pattern. Place the ham (on its side – not face down) in the large oven bag and put it in alarge roasting pan. Mix the brown sugar and mustard in a bowl and rub all over the ham. Place orange wedges in the bottom of the bag around the ham. Pour the coke into the bag all around the bottom of the ham.
  • Gather the bag up so that the bag isn't touching the ham. You want an air pocket all around the ham. You want a very loose fit. Then close the bag with a tie. It should look like a nearly deflated baloon with some air still inside. Using a small, sharp knife, make three tiny slits in the top of the bag for ventilation (don’t skip this step or the bag will burst wide open and the ham won’t be able to self-baste).
  • Move your oven rack just low enough that the bag won’t touch the upper elements in your oven then bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours or until ham is nicely browned and caramelized. Remove ham from oven and rest, inside the bag, for 30 minutes before serving.

  • Basic Cheese Pizza

  • 1/4 ounce dry yeast
  • 1 cup water, lukewarm
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese

    Prep Time:1 hr
    Cook Time:13 mins

    How to Make It

  • Dough:.
  • In a glass or plastic bowl, combine yeast, water, and sugar (the water can just be water from the tap, make sure it's below 100°F).
  • Stir to dissolve the yeast and let the yeast "bloom" for 15 minutes.
  • Stir in 1 cup flour, add salt, and then stir in another cup of flour (the remaining cup of flour will be your "bench" flour and added flour).
  • Dump mixture onto kneading board and work in last cup of flour, kneading until dough is soft and elastic, but not sticky. Form dough into a ball.
  • In another bowl, pour in the 1 tbsp olive oil and spread around.
  • Coat ball of dough with oil and cover bowl with a damp towel and let dough rise for 40 minutes.
  • Punch down dough and knead on board about 2 minutes. Dough is now ready to spread in the pan.
  • To avoid sticking of crust, lightly spray pizza pan with olive oil or vegetable oil spray and then work dough to pan (or use free form pan) - this dough is enough for 1 14-in pizza with a thin bottom crust and enough dough around the edge to munch.
  • Sauce:.
  • Combine pureed tomatoes, tomato paste, minced garlic, and basil.
  • Spread onto prepared pizza dough.
  • Top with sliced mozzarella cheese and bake at 500°F for 11-13 minutes.

  • Mix all ingredients (but instant rice and cheese) in freezer bag. Put cheese in extra bag and staple onto casserole bag along with bag of rice of using instant. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. If you’re using the instant rice, you’ll want to add the rice about an hour before you’re ready to eat and don’t put in original freezer bag. Top with cheese a few minutes before serving.
  • I made this meal tonight for dinner as a skillet meal instead of a crockpot meal. It works great if you haven’t had a chance to get anything into the freezer yet or if you’re like me and forgot about starting supper in the morning….yeah, I do that all.the.time! I had gotten a bunch of Rice-A-Roni for 33 cents a box, so I decided to use that as my rice this time. My family seemed to like it better than the plain rice I used last time. Doesn’t that figure? Rice-A-Roni, isn’t nearly as healthy as the other stuff! Oh well…..they like it either way and hopefully they’ll forget about that Rice-A-Roni. It was a big hit with the whole family except for the one who doesn’t like green peppers and onions. I’m pretty sure if she couldn’t see the chunks she would’ve loved it!

  • note: ps : don't put the freezer bag in the crockpot. Place all the ingredients in the freezer bag and freeze so they're all ready to go into the crockpot when the time comes
